Safeguard financial accuracy and transparency — reconciling transactions, verifying settlements and reporting revenue across QUATAPAY, QUATAFOOD and ABAQWA.
QUATA Digital Enterprise builds innovative digital platforms that simplify payments, food delivery, logistics and commerce across Cameroon and Africa — QUATAPAY, QUATAFOOD and ABAQWA / Go Abaqwa. As transaction volumes grow, financial accuracy, transparency and accountability become essential.
Reporting to the Founder / CEO, the Finance & Reconciliation Officer is responsible for financial record management, transaction reconciliation, settlement verification, reporting, revenue tracking and operational financial controls across all our platforms — ensuring accurate records, timely settlements and compliance with internal financial procedures.
Advantageous but not mandatory: CAT, ACCA (partly or fully completed), CIMA, CPA or other recognized accounting / finance certifications.
English (spoken and written) is mandatory. French and Cameroon Pidgin English are a strong advantage — candidates who communicate effectively in English, French and Pidgin will have an added advantage when working with customers and partners across Cameroon.
“The best thing about working in Finance & Accounts at QUATA is the loop between shipping and seeing the outcome. There's no waiting for someone else to validate the work — you go talk to the user.”
